IMIA François Grémy Award for Excellence

This, the health informatics field’s highest award given by its peak international organisation, was only the 5th since it was first given in 2001. The primary criterion for a recipient of the IMIA François Grémy Award of Excellence is “an individual whose personal commitment and dedication to medical informatics who has made a lasting contribution to medicine and healthcare through her or his achievements in research, education, development or application in the field of medical informatics.”
