The FMHHS Education Awards are designed to encourage and recognise the efforts of educators at all levels. The Innovation in Education Award recognises the development and implementation of an innovation that improves learning and teaching. This innovation enables, motivates, inspires and/or supports students to learn. Dr Morrison was commended for his unique and innovative approach to enhancing professional Psychology education through virtual client simulation. The panel considered the innovation to be novel, enabling, and supportive of student learning, with the potential for wider applications across disciplines.
