We propose the development of a new test library shared between the Department of Educational Studies, the Centre for Children’s Learning in a Social World, and the Centre for Research in Numeracy Development and Learning. Researchers in all groups have a need for rigorous standardised tests to measure children’s expressive and receptive vocabulary, numeracy and mathematics, cognitive abilities, and socio-emotional strengths and difficulties. With access to the most recent versions of common standardised tests, we will seed important research, promote the use of standardised measurement tools in education, and enhance publication success.
