Description
The program involves 3 projects to improve the quality, content and timing of allied health involvement for individuals with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI).
Aims:
1. To develop a protocol for allied health involvement, and complimentary patient guide, for individuals with OI across the lifespan.
2. Set up a large body of work to be carried out over the next 5 years.
Host Institutions:
Sydney -The Children's Hospital at Westmead, Royal North Shore Hospital, Westmead Adult Hospital (University of Sydney affiliated)
Melbourne - The Royal Children's Hospital (Murdoch Children's Research Institute affiliated)
Expected outcomes:
Submission of 2 manuscripts for publication and 2 external grants.
Stronger research collaborations.
