Description
Please note: This is a proposal for a large collaborative with 50 Chief Investigators. I have therefore only indicated myself and the lead Chief Investigator in the list of applicants and only Macquarie University and University of Sydney in collaborating organisations.
This research will generate new knowledge to enable more effective implementation and use of clinical and genomic datasets. It will achieve this by undertaking research to address emerging ethical, legal and social issues to determine how such datasets should be governed. This research will address how such governance can both promote the development and use of clinical and genomic datasets while also ensuring and maintaining trust from diverse stakeholder groups.
My role will be to a oversee a workstream. The funds received will be used to buy out teaching and/or employ a research assistant (TBC depending on available personnel and workload at the time).
