Project Details
Description
This project is the extension of the previous project with Faethm (PURE ID: 108654076).
In the age of big data, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming a powerful differentiator across industries and almost every organization now focused on
understanding the ability of machines, devices, sensors, and people to connect and communicate with each other. Such inter-connectivity enables us to collect the big data generated/scattered across various systems and smart entities in manufacturing processes. This in turn will enable us to understand novel applications of AI in the fourth industrial revolution, also known as Industry 4.0, from cognitive assistants (to assist knowledge workers by aggregating and visualizing information comprehensively for making informed decisions and
solving urgent problems) to smart entities (to enable cyber physical systems to make decisions on their own). This project will focus on research and development techniques to understand the challenges and opportunities in using artificial intelligence and machine learning, sensor technology and
data analytics to support advanced automation and enhance machine-to-machine and human-to-machine communication.
