Audio-Video Observation, Recording, Analysis and Conferencing Infrastructure

Having access to reliable audio-video observation, recording and analysis systems is becoming essential for modern clinical, cognitive, social psychological, and multiagent research. Unfortunately this infrastructure is not currently available within the Psychology Department or Simulation Hub. We are therefore requesting funds to purchase: (1) audiovideo observation, recording and analysis systems for laboratories in the Simulation-Hub and on the 8th floor of the Psychology Building; (2) a mobile audio-video observation, recording and analysis system for non-laboratory (naturalistic) and off-campus based data collection; and (3) an integrated video-conferencing system to further support national and international multisite data collection and research collaboration.
