    Project Details

The Australasian Society for Human Behaviour and Evolution ( was formed in 2018 to promote the study of human behavior through an evolutionary lens in Australia, Southeast Asia and the South Pacific. We are a small but growing society with over 30 active members at all levels from undergraduate to full professor, and a broader membership of over 100 people across Australasia. We seek funding to support our 2019 conference. This conference will welcome submissions from participants at all career stages, and will include a workshop session in the afternoon to encourage researchers (particularly students) to develop skills and interests in new areas of evolutionary approaches to human behaviour.
