This application relates to an EoI to the Department of Industry Innovation and Science (DIIS) to be determined in December 2017.
This facility answers the Federal Government’s call for a new home for the instrumentation arm of the Australian Astronomical Observatory (AAO), one of Australia’s two major optical astronomy instrumentation capabilities. The AAO is leaving DIIS from July 1, 2018. Macquarie University is bidding to acquire the AAO’s North Ryde laboratories and staff.
