Bridging the Gap: A Comparative Study Between a Mouse Model of Endolymphatic Hydrops and Human Meniere’s Disease.

This study will aid our understanding of the natural history of MD in relation to electrophysiologic and morphologic parameters, further explore the diagnostic criteria, and most importantly establishes a translational model that provides a framework upon which future investigations can be built, E.g. the testing of novel therapeutics in a transitional model prior to human clinical trials. As such this work establishes a much-needed research paradigm for our society to proceed with further translational investigations.
