Brill's New Jacoby

Editor-in-Chief, Brill’s New Jacoby: new edition (texts, translations, critical commentaries, biographical essays) of F. Jacoby, Die Fragmente der griechischen Historiker I-III, including new authors in addition to the 856 of I-III. The project is published online by E.J. Brill and involves a team of 167 scholars in 16 countries with 13 area editors. The first batch of authors was published in July 2007 and the final batch is scheduled for October 2019. To date 849 authors are published/waiting publication. In 2016 BNJ 2 (revised entries with addenda) began, under my sole editorship, to be completed c. 2024.
