Description
The scholarship allocation is 20257859.
This project investigates how cellular senescence and biofilm–host interactions contribute to the persistence of chronic wounds in elderly patients. By studying the interplay between senescent cells, impaired immune responses, and microbial biofilm formation, the research aims to uncover the biological mechanisms that drive delayed healing and wound recurrence. The outcomes will provide new insights into age-related wound healing failure and inform the development of targeted therapeutic strategies to improve clinical outcomes in elderly populations.
