Critical Mineral Supply and Economic Analysis - Supply and Trade Risks for Silicon and Solar Panels in an East Asian and ASEAN Context

Economic and geopolitical supply risks will be assessed for silicon, and the end product of solar panels, in an East Asian context. The analysis will augment the GeoPolRisk method which has been used in recent papers, such as by Koyamparambath et al. (2022). This will include the integration of trade and economic variables into an existing framework that focuses on political aspects. The analysis may consider how supply risks changes over time and how these risks differ across East Asian countries.
