    This project examines the the link between cyber-intelligence and cyber-terrorism in Africa. It examines the role of cyber intelligence in countering cyber terrorism. It maps the nature, scope, and methods used by either parties. At an empirical level, it focuses on two well-known cases: i.e., Somalia and Mozambique. The research examines this phenomenon on the open internet and deep internet. This project was initially funded through the African Peacebuilding Network (APN)'s Individual Research Fellowship (2022 cohort). The initial phase came to a close in May 2023.
