Developing a Predictive Model for Reliability Assessment of Microcarriers

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

This project addresses the pivotal role of polymeric microcarriers (MCs) in regenerative medicine and lab-grown meat production. Smart MCs pioneers an innovative large-scale bio-polymeric microcarrier production technique using versatile emulsification methods. The project focuses on ensuring stable MCs for optimal cell attachment and growth, considering factors such as environmental conditions, mechanical stress, and material properties. Through a predictive model derived from an extensive microcarrier library, the project aims to assess MC reliability by incorporating operational and environmental parameters, ultimately enhancing production efficiency and bioreactor performance.
