Development of clinical tools to personalise lymphoedema diagnosis, treatment and self-management

We aim to develop state-of-the-art clinical tools for personalised lymphoedema diagnosis, treatment and self-management. This will include development of a novel imaging device to enable advanced 4D visualisation and analysis of lymphatic flow, along with automated methods to calculate limb volume, to improve upon the
simplistic volume-based metrics currently being used for disease monitoring. Ultimately this device will provide valuable quantitative feedback for clinicians to personalise treatment and thereby improve outcomes for patients with this incurable disease.
