Description
Libraries are nowadays far more than repositories for books and other print materials. Libraries can be vibrant learning spaces. Libraries with abundant IT and other resources could be especially important to support students from disadvantaged backgrounds. However, Australian schools are not required to have a library and the shortage of teacher-librarians has been a concern since pre-COVID times. This is a collaborative project with the Australian Library Information Association to collect baseline information about the school library sector.
Layman's description
