Description

This collaborative agreement is to test whether the site (Macquarie University Campus) is able to support a local cohort of EV drivers who are willing to pay for the energy. After a recent visit to Macquarie campus and communication focusing on mutual research goals, Snowy Hydro propose working with Macquarie University to undertake a trial to pursue a stable revenue model and a long term EV adoption achievement. Researchers at Macquarie University also propose a research project to assist the transition towards the zero emissions target, support the local community in EV uptake and enhance the sustainability and economic benefits of the EV charging facility at Macquarie University by developing innovation charging methods and future installation of EV charging stations.
