Project Details

Description

This project aims to enhance the governance capacity of key partners in SE Asia in pursuit of sustainable, equitable and productive marine environments.
Within this, the project has 3 components. An overarching regional component, and major project work in Indonesia and Philippines focused on issues of key importance to each country within this overarching problem context.
• The regional component seeks to integrate findings across project components and develop a region-specific model/approach for marine environmental governance in SE Asia.
• The Indonesian component seeks to develop a systematic approach to addressing chronic vulnerability in coastal fishing households.
• The Philippines component seeks to improve capacity for multi-scale governance of coral reefs.
