Enhancing Regional Capacity for Economic Surveillance and Financial Vulnerability Assessment

ADB aims to enhance the regional capacity for economic and financial surveillance in Asia. It aims to do this by supporting the delivery of an upgraded version of ADB’s Vulnerability Indicators and Early Warning System (VIEWS) that can be used by DMCs in the region to spot, assess, and mitigate economic and financial sector vulnerabilities. Using mixed state frequencies models, this project delivers an innovative economic and financial surveillance tool that can help the region identify and track emerging economic and financial vulnerabilities.
