Project Details

Description

This project aims to conduct descriptive research in Australian universities, where ICT programs are increasingly incorporating AI-driven tools into their assessment processes. By examining real-world applications/case studies and gathering insights from ICT educators and students, the research will explore both the practical and theoretical challenges that arise with the advent of AI and its integration into ICT education. The project will be guided by TEQSA’s principles, ensuring that the findings align with national educational standards for trustworthy, ethical, and effective assessments. The goal is to gather detailed information on current practices and policies on how ICT educators at Australian universities apply these principles in the context of AI, providing a comprehensive list of institutional practices that guide the use of generative AI in assessment, focusing on alignment with TEQSA principles.
