Feasibility of testing the effectiveness of a theory-informed implementation intervention to reduce imaging for low back pain: a pilot cluster randomised controlled trial

The Australia & New Zealand Musculoskeletal (ANZMUSC) Clinical Trials Network Seed Funding Research Scheme is funded from the ANZMUSC NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence. Seed funding is granted for research projects that can achieve a tangible outcome within 12 months of receipt of grant funds.

This project aims to perform a pilot cluster RCT to determine the feasibility of a fully powered effectiveness study, and to assess the feasibility of implementing the developed intervention in clinical practice. This is critical to gain funding for the future effectiveness testing using a cluster RCT.
