Funded Research Fellowship: Kawasaki University - Tokyo – Japan
I was one of two international (foreign) researchers who have been invited by the Japanese Society of Severe Motor and Intellectual Disabilities (JSSMID) to attend a week-long fully funded research exchange on Severe Motor and Intellectual Disabilities (SMID) in Japan.
Professor Shigeru Suemitsu, (president of the 45th congress of JSSMID in 2019) planned site visits in Tokyo and Okayama. I presented five seminars and engaged in discussion regarding a proposed collegial research project with a delegation from the Kawasaki University of Medical-Welfare.
