Description
This study is being conducted by members of the Educational Leadership and Organisational Development (ELOD) Research Group within the Department of Educational Studies at Macquarie University. We have been interested in exploring the link between student engagement in formal and informal opportunities for leadership development, prior to entry into Initial Teacher Education (ITE) programs and whilst at university, and their capacity to gain employment as ‘classroom ready teachers’ capable of exercising leadership in a range of educational contexts.
