Implementing FAIR: Standards in Research Data Management at Macquarie University

This project, supported by the Australian Research Data Commons involves several institutional changes to support better research data management. This will include guidance and support for researchers in their use of currently available data infrastructure to enhance the transparency, reproducibility and accountability of their research and lead to greater assurance of research integrity. The project will vastly improve Macquarie’s capacity and involvement in the data commons through developments in the area of policy, procedures, systems and training. Key improvements involve a new set of standards and procedures, a Data Management Planning (DMP) Project Tool, and training to educate researchers about FAIR data practices.
