The overarching aim of this project is to understand the facilitators of, and barriers to, the effective inclusion of disadvantaged families in early childhood education (ECE) services. The study will investigate the perspectives of centre directors, early childhood teachers and parents to develop better understandings about effective practices in ECE. The project’s theoretical significance will explore aspects of inclusion that are utilised in ECE services.
