Indigenous Science Experience @ Redfern

The Indigenous Science Experience will highlight the value of Indigenous knowledge in STEM and the relevance of STEM to our everyday lives. Coordinated by the National Indigenous Science Education Program (NISEP) and in collaboration with First Nations scientists, STEM academics and outreach organisations, this event will provide immersive STEM activities for local primary school students and a community open day with expo style activities, workshops and presentations, all at the iconic Redfern Community Centre. It will provide highly accessible STEM opportunities for all Australians. Through NISEP secondary students leading STEM activities, the program will also build pride and provide exceptional role models for other Indigenous youth.
