Indigenous Science Experience @ Redfern 2022

The Indigenous Science Experience will showcase the significance of the scientific knowledge of Indigenous Australians and the relevance of science to our everyday lives. Coordinated by the National Indigenous Science Education Program (NISEP) and in collaboration with First Nations people, science academics and outreach organisations, this event will provide immersive activities for primary school students and a community open day at the Redfern Community Centre, along with online presentations and workshops, providing inclusive opportunities for people across Australia to engage in science. Through NISEP secondary students leading activities, the program will also build pride and provide exceptional role models for other Indigenous youth.
