Interpretable AI for Tactical Decision Monitoring and Support

This project will drive innovative advancements in collaborative AI Agents, Augmented Human-Machine Reasoning, and Machine Reasoning technologies by developing interpretable (understandable), human-aligned, AI action and communication decision modelling framework that will enhance operators’ Situational Awareness and Decision Support. Project outcomes will enable the real-time predictive monitoring, assessment, and augmentation of operational decision-making in complex command and control and human teaming contexts. Project outcomes will enhance the ability of operators to interact and collaborate with AI agents and decision tools that are understandable and interpretable and can rapidly generate, enact and communicate effective courses of action in mission-critical operations. This includes supporting efficient coordination of distributed teams in Integrated Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) systems.
