Description
Keyboards have replaced pens and screens have superseded paper, so what are
translators using to replace bilingual dictionaries? Language learners use translation apps when they need to find translation equivalents. However, we do not know if and how professional and student translators use translation apps.
The aim of this research is to examine what type of translation apps professional translators and students use and how they use them.
The expected outcomes are raised awareness about how professionals and students are using translation apps and recommendations about how to use them effectively through the integration of apps in the translation curriculum.
