Is there a role for artificial intelligence (AI) in nursing decision support?

This study evaluates the effects of automating human information processing functions on nurses' decision-making and risk identification. Participating nurses will be asked to complete an online survey that will present six hypothetical clinical scenarios using a decision support system for patient assessment. The clinical scenarios are designed to test if automation improves rates of complete and correct assessments, and reduces the time it takes to complete assessments.
