Project Details

Description

Research and development of the Iterative Compressive Sensing Direction of Arrival Algorithm and its applications to defence systems. The algorithm determines the direction of arrival of a radio signal at an antenna array. Two processing locations employing the algorithm may determine the position of the radio transmitter.

Layman's description

Research and development of an algorithms which enables the direction of arrival of a radio signal at and antenna array. Two processing locations employing the algorithm may determine the direction of arrival of a radio signal at an antenna array.

Key findings

The extensive of the icsDOA algorithm from the determination of the azimuth angle of the direction of arrival to both the azimuth angle and the elevation angle. The determination of the performance of the icsDOA algorithm in a multipath channel environment. Software to enable applications of the algorithm to defence systems.
