PROJECT TITLE:
Linking Cognitive Science and Data Science for Enhanced Therapeutic Interventions
Abstract:
This research embarks on a pioneering journey to understand the intricate relationship between the OCEAN personality traits (Openness,
Conscientiousness, Extroversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism), Millon's theory of clinical personality disorder and acute mental
disorders to individual feature preferences. This initiative uses a multifaceted approach, integrating the principles of cognitive science to
understand decision-making processes while harnessing the predictive power of data science and generative AI to model these
preferences. Our innovative methodology, which resembles reverse engineering, is a leap toward a more nuanced comprehension of how
personality traits influence decisions and impact on the manifestation of clinical disorders. The anticipated outcome is a refined system
for therapeutic and rehabilitative interventions, innovatively tailored to resonate deeply with individual personalities, detection of
therapeutic effects during treatment, and ensuring heightened effectiveness and deeper patient resonance.
