Material Stabilisation Technology for Perovskite Solar Cells

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

Renewable energy is vital for Australia to reach its 2050 net-zero (greenhouse gases) emissions target. Solar energy, the most abundant renewable source, will play a crucial role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This project aims to solve a critical challenge of a new generation of solar cells, which is called perovskite solar cells. It will address the material instability in perovskite, a key component of next-generation solar cells, by developing a reliable encapsulation technology.
