Project Details
Description
Children spend substantial time learning inside dynamic, noisy classrooms which create challenging learning environments. Noise is particularly problematic during group work activities, which make up around 50% of learning time. The aim of this study is to assess children’s communication abilities during group work. This is significant as little research has been conducted during this type of learning activity, but is vital given the amount of time spent in it. This research will help us understand the communication challenges present during group work which will inform future research on how to improve communication, especially for children with hearing loss.
