Description

We will:
(1) Assess if in situ partial melting is a possibility for the observed microstructures and chemical changes.
(2) Investigate the plausibility of open system melt migration processes involving melt-rock interactions and formulate microstructural and chemical fingerprints of melt migration through gabbroic oceanic crust.
(3) Assess the rheological consequence of melt migration and melt-rock interactions
