Mobile Virtual Reality Resource for School and University Based Research

Virtual Reality (VR) is a ground-breaking technology that puts the user inside a 360 degree video scene or in life-like simulations. Research on using VR in education is scarce with most studies confined to university laboratories. A mobile VR lab moves the VR research to schools where we can examine its impact on learning in authentic environments. Our VR studies will be among the first in schools and enable us to understand VR’s true potential for teaching and learning in early childhood and K-12 settings while simultaneously fostering relationships and raising our profile with education stakeholders.
