    Layman's description

This research aims to propose a framework that uses advanced machine learning (ML) techniques and multi-temporal SAR remote sensing data for monitoring forest communities in Australia. Accordingly, the immediate impacts, damage, and subsequent recovery under the changing climate at multiple scales across the Australian continent will be assessed. This work may provide a baseline for effectively monitoring forest communities under rapid sea-level rise, thus providing practical significances for developing models and for better understanding the relationships between sea-level rise, storm surge, and vegetation damage and subsequent recovery patterns in various forest communities located in Australia, and for guiding sustainable forest management and conservation.
