Project: Research

Description

The Multilingualism Research Centre aims to: (1) foster research on multilingualism across Macquarie University, (2) collaborate with researchers in Australia and overseas on multilingualism research, (3) provide research-based support on multilingual policies and practices to community organizations in New South Wales. Interdisciplinary collaboration and community engagement lie at the heart of our approach to research that aims to enhance the quality of life in a multilingual world. The Centre is hosted by the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences (FMHHS), and sponsored by the Linguistics Department in FMHHS and the School of Education in the Faculty of Arts.
