Multiproxy correlation of the stratigraphy of East Antarctica and South Australia

Combination of multiproxy data from these two coeval sections will create a novel framework for East Gondwanan stratigraphy. Regional studies such as this have proven vital in in piecing together the global Cambrian timescale. The biogeographic relationships between palaeocontinents in the Cambrian remain controversial and Gondwana is no exception. This new scheme will shed new light on the issues of lower Cambrian biogeography.
