Description
The South Australian component (SA) of the National Survey of
remote Indigenous Artists will provide data and analyses concerning the circumstances of remote Indigenous art and cultural production, participation and employment in remote regions of the State. The SA module of the Survey is aimed at informing policies and strategies that will stimulate and develop sustainable, economically viable and culturally relevant employment opportunities for Indigenous people in remote regions of the State. The National Survey is being undertaken by Macquarie University in remote regions across Australia, building a nationally-representative database. This project will provide the SA component of the database.
