Navigational and neuroethological aspects of cooperative transport in weaver ants

This is an Endeavour Fellowship to PhD candidate Mr Andrew Burchill from Arizona State University. He will be situated in my lab for the duration of the Fellowship. We will study how weaver ants use available information to coordinate their actions when cooperatively moving a large food item back to their nest.
