NCP Program - Semester: MQ and BINUS Student Mobility Project in Indonesia

This is a semester student exchange program in Indonesia where Macquarie University's students will take courses provided by BINUS University. At the end of the program, students will be given an opportunity to undertake an up to two months industry/ community engagement internship with one of BINUS’s partner organizations. The students can work on and develop a business project during the internship program. Moreover, students will also join workshops or boot camps on Indonesian culture and language training. During the program, internship and workshop, Macquarie students will work
collaboratively with BINUS students that can create long lasting person-to-person linkages between Australia and Indonesia as well as between Macquarie and BINUS. This project aims to increase student knowledge of the Indo-pacific as it enables students to better understand social issues and business culture in the context of Indonesia and to have first-hand experience in contributing to positive social change through a project. The outcomes from this project
partnership aims to establish future job/internship opportunities and mentorship, as well as whilst having potential positive contributions to deepen institutional links between Australia and Indonesia. This project will strengthen and extend a partnership between Macquarie University and BINUS University in the areas of student mobility, teaching, dual degree partnership, and research.
