Patient Experience and Virtual Care

Many virtual care services were set up quickly in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. While they helped fill urgent needs, it's unclear whether these models are the best option for delivering care in the long term. In particular, there is limited understanding on what it's like for patients, and their carers, to receive hospital-level care at home.

This project focuses on two metropolitan virtual hospitals in NSW. It aims to understand the unique challenges they face in delivering multidisciplinary hospital-level care for patients at home.
