Description
How consumers form expectations and evaluate uncertainty in the future are crucial questions in understanding economic fluctuations and play an important role in formulating policy communications. This project aims to collect original data on consumers’ perceived news to study how news impact on consumer inflation expectations and its associated uncertainty and examine if trust and media source play any mediating role in transmitting news into expectations.
