Description

MAVIS is the next major instrument for the VLT. It is a multii-conjugate adaptive optics visible imager and spectrograph. It is currently in ESO Phase A, i.e. concept design. MAVIS will be the world’s first visible MCAO system. AAO-MQ is responsible for the imager and spectrograph
