Description
Macquarie University (Maciej Maselko), working collaboratively with CSIRO (Agus Sunarto, Mark Tizard, Tanja Strive), will undertake research to progress the development of a proof-of-concept on genetic control technologies in a vertebrate system. This work will be achieved through a postdoctoral fellow (Chandran Pfitzner), with mentoring provided jointly by Macquarie and CSIRO.
I have a grant (PURE ID: 125405926) funded by the Centre for Invasive Species Solutions (CISS) in a partnership with CSIRO. The current funding ends 13/1/2023 and all funds received from CISS are already either spent or committed.
CSIRO has offered to provide an additional year of funding for this project to help cover the salary of Dr Chan Pfitzner, who is a postdoc that is supported by the current CISS funding.
A request for $50K in MQ co-funding is pending DVCR approval (DVCR0001373)
