Project Details
Description
This project aims to bridge the gap between historians, museums, and digital media by assessing the historical accuracy of popular video games. With 3.09 billion gamers worldwide consuming culturally contingent historical narratives, this initiative seeks to provide a critical evaluation of these games. The goal is to inform the public, demonstrate how museum objects can enhance game assessments, and ultimately inspire interest in history. Additionally, this project will explore the potential for developing educational games centred on Australian and Canadian history.
