Description
Infrastructure: OSA207C Fourier Transform Optical Spectrum Analyser 1-12 um
The requested ultra-broadband spectrometer is vital to the rapidly expanding mid-infrared research program within MQ Photonics. These compact and portable instruments suit a wide range of applications, such as analysing the spectrum of weak fluorescence, resolving the modes of a gain chip, and identifying absorption lines in a spectral measurement. The proposed infrastructure is portable, highly versatile, and will accelerate the progress of many graduate student projects, while strengthening our collaborations, creating the appropriate foundation for future funding. The requested spectrometer is unique in that it covers an extremely wide band with very high resolution.
