I will demonstrate how precision medicine can improve poverty rates for patients and families with rare genetic diseases in Australia. I will achieve this by estimating poverty from primary collected data from patients and families and providing evidence how precision medicine can reduce poverty by improving health for patients and families often neglected in research and policy in Australia.Aims1)Estimate multidimensional poverty rates for patients and carers with rare genetic diseases in Australia.2)Estimate the impact precision medicine via reproductive planning and gene therapies can have on poverty rates of rare genetic diseases in Australia
